Drink about something

RECAP OF VICTOIRA AND HER SHADY HITS

Jendsey Season 1

Aaron Goodwin from Ghost Adventures faced an unimaginable betrayal when his wife Victoria conspired with a convicted murderer against him. We dive deep into this shocking case that connects to Grant Amato, the subject of the Netflix documentary "Control Alt Desire," who murdered his entire family over his obsession with a cam girl named Sylvie.

The emotional devastation Aaron experienced comes through clearly in court footage where he breaks down describing how it feels to know someone you loved was plotting your death. We watch him continue filming Ghost Adventures episodes while completely unaware of the threat against his life. Our hearts truly go out to Aaron – nobody should ever have to endure such betrayal from someone they trusted completely.

We explore the critical distinction between having an interest in true crime content versus developing romantic feelings for actual murderers. These exist on completely different spectrums, with the latter potentially indicating serious mental health concerns. As Lindsay points out, "Having a fascination with true crime and being romantically involved with somebody that has actually murdered somebody are two different things."

We're also excited to announce our upcoming two-part deep dive into the Chris Watts case! Part one releases today with part two coming Friday. Whether you're familiar with this infamous case or hearing about it for the first time, you won't want to miss Jesse's genuine reactions as Lindsay guides him through this disturbing story.

Support Aaron Goodwin by watching Ghost Adventures and checking out his clothing line, Big Steppin.

Speaker 1:

I heard you have like the craziest story, like a two-parter. It's going to be a crazy week, it is. I heard you have like the craziest story, like a two-parter, coming up. I'm not ready.

Speaker 2:

It wasn't intended to be a two-parter. But then you were like, bitch, this is long. And I was like, okay, well, I seen it.

Speaker 1:

And I was like I don't know, dude, I don't think we need to do it this long. I think it's a two-parter. So there's a cool two-parter coming up, and happy Wednesday.

Speaker 2:

Well, and the first part is going to be out also today.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, yeah, we're going to record like a bunch today and then just give you, give, give, give. We're givers, we're givers we're the givers yes, what was that? Lex and Terry that remember like?

Speaker 2:

on rock 104 they were. They're like they're the givers. Yes, thank you so much. And that's what the girls would say.

Speaker 1:

You know, what I remember the most um about them is when they would always just hit the um on the soundboard the alabama, alabama so like we listened to, okay, out of gainesville weimer hall, like I went to that studio a couple of times, um, lex and Terry, they, they broadcast, broadcasted out of there.

Speaker 2:

They had what was their buddy's name, and I can't remember the one that talked about drinking baby tears. Fuck, what was his name?

Speaker 1:

And there was the black guy there. They had they had the um, the crystals eating contest and he's the crystals eating contest. He's like I throw it up in my mouth but I swallowed it. You ain't going to beat me.

Speaker 2:

I got to look up his name real quick.

Speaker 1:

He ate like 30 crystal burgers. So if you're around our area and you remember Rock 104.

Speaker 2:

What was the third voice on the Lex and Terry?

Speaker 1:

show. Oh my God, it was like DNA, right.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but was his name just D D. No, that's not right. Sarah was like the background. Yeah, she was back. I thought it was d right, it is d it's d. Yeah, it was, d was in. I'm not even gonna look at no, if it's if we're wrong, let us know.

Speaker 1:

Let us know. Yeah, if you listen to rock 104 and lex and terry and I, I mean of course, they were, like they were on several radio stations. Yeah, it's a big, but it was like Cox Communication or whatever.

Speaker 2:

They were kind of like a God. Why can't I remember his name?

Speaker 1:

Like a Bubba right.

Speaker 2:

No, they were like Like a Bubba Loves Sponge. No, will you please hush a minute and let me remember I'm not thinking of Bubba Loves Sponge whatsoever. I don't know him. You don't know Bubba. No, I'm not thinking of Bubba Love Sponge whatsoever. I don't know him. Who's the guy that we listen to? He's got the long hair. Howard fucking Stern. They're like the Howard Stern.

Speaker 1:

We're moving up to that phase. I'm just trying to get you. Lex and Terry Gainesville, jacksonville. Bubba Love Sponge is like Tampa Iconic but I don't live in Tampa but my band played on fucking Bubba.

Speaker 2:

I Love Sponge is like Tampa, iconic and we played on my band. But I don't live in Tampa but my band played on fucking Bubba. I know that but I still don't know him or his personality. He's like who are?

Speaker 1:

these hazy farmers. They're actually sounding this good and then they're like come down to the studio and jam but we couldn't hook it up because my cello and bass player, he's kind of a neurologist. I love him. It's hard to, but bubba loved the shit out of us and then I talked to him um at gator nationals just last and um I got to hang out with him and uh, one of the uh race car drivers, ron caps, which does the napa race car drag racing. So I was like bubba love sponge my band and ron caps hanging out. It was fucking cool. It was really cool. I enjoyed that.

Speaker 2:

And, by the way, everybody this is raw, uncut, unfiltered, unedited drunk about something recap To the real, to the real. So what are you drinking right now?

Speaker 1:

So so what's that? Oh we, ok. So we're starting. This is coming across right now, which shouldn't be. We're starting to learn how to do video. Ok, that's right. Yeah, so that just downloaded. That's why you hear the ching-a-ching.

Speaker 2:

Stay tuned to see our beautiful faces. Yeah, so we did some testing on video podcasting.

Speaker 1:

We're thinking about getting into it a little bit. You'll see our my mean mug and Lindsey's beautiful.

Speaker 2:

Thank you.

Speaker 1:

Ass fucking mug over there.

Speaker 2:

What am I drinking?

Speaker 1:

You said listen here, listen here you boys. Okay, I got my little nephew over.

Speaker 2:

He's not little. They're grown.

Speaker 1:

They're full ass grown huge human beings and they make me up some kind of I think it's crown apple and Dr Pepper or something.

Speaker 2:

It's really good.

Speaker 1:

It's really good. What about you over there, Miss Lindsay? I've got.

Speaker 2:

So I've got a mango white claw mixed with a peach Vista Bay Cause you know I don't like the mango standalone, I got to mix them with peach to be able to drink them, yeah. And then I got a little sprinkle of peach mango drink mixer in there, just a little sprinkle, just to give it some extra flavor.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you were telling me you were like you want to get down on this.

Speaker 2:

I'm like I think my boy's done Well because you like the mango monster mixed with your crown apple, so I thought you might like that flavor, but not with Dr Pepper.

Speaker 1:

This is no energy drink. I'm just like no caffin right here.

Speaker 2:

Like but we got a lot to do today. Yes, we got a lot to do.

Speaker 2:

That's why I sprinkled some energy in there and Lindsay's gonna throw like some shade my way later on with a two-parter of something that I don't know about nothing and we were supposed to have a guest who loves this case okay, who is intrigued as intrigued in this case as I was, but her baby got the flu so she couldn't make it today. So shout out to my work, bestie slash child that I've raised I raised her from a 17 year old.

Speaker 1:

She's your working project.

Speaker 2:

Yes, but and she's awesome she's like and I say this all the time, I'm like bitch, if we had went to school together like y'all would have been cool. Yeah, with the clown, she, she is raw, unfiltered, on on everything. Oh, there's my cheesecake. Yeah, raw, unfiltered, unfiltered.

Speaker 1:

Speaking of making a cheesecake today, who went to the gathering of juggalos. Let me know. If there's any of our listeners that just got back from gathering, let me know Did you get some. Faygo, on you. I seen dude like ICP actually does put on a badass show.

Speaker 2:

I don't care, we enjoyed the one that we saw. We didn't see this past year's, but we saw last year's.

Speaker 1:

But they were so good that Danny put him back on Rockville and on a bigger stage, on a bigger stage. They deserved it.

Speaker 2:

So if anybody went to the gathering, holler at us, let's know he is cool, fucking haunted rap man, it's cool, it's spooky you gotta be a dork like us to love it yeah, I mean all the way down to even. I mean they even pick on eminem and and he, he don't mind it no, he don't mind it, because no, and it's like one I don't get offended about because uh, don't fuck with my dog.

Speaker 1:

marshall mothers okay, we're buds, they literally enjoyed that rhetoric and I think that was the spark between like okay, all these other rappers were like gangster rap and they're fighting back and forth and people got actually killed over and all that crazy stuff. Right, they did that just for fun, Because have you ever heard of Marshall Mathers records?

Speaker 2:

You keep talking. I'm going to get this cheesecake out. Yeah, go and get the cheesecake out.

Speaker 1:

So have you ever heard like Eminem, like not talking shit about everybody? I mean, I love it and I think that was really cool. That ICP, which is nowhere near as big, will never be, but they have fun with their thing, right? Yeah, it's a good show and they have like this whole gathering. They just had it.

Speaker 1:

I've heard a lot of positive, but lindsey, one of our bands, had something stolen from them. That's why I'm bringing that up. Um, yeah, yeah, yosemite and black was up there and they had some merch stolen from them our money, yeah. So don't be shitty. By the way, yeah, follow yosemite and black for sure. Yeah, they're, they're really good. So they made it to the gathering of juggalos. They played and I just seen a post that they had some stuff stolen from them. That's not cool. Don't do my bros that way. Oh god, if you can't, yeah, you don't need it. So check out, but do check out all the bands and everything. Like, I'm kind of dragging you guys along because she's, she's getting a cheesecake over there. So it's my turn and we'll talk about music and all that. Oh, she's back, nevermind, nevermind.

Speaker 2:

But anyhow. So if you're in the in the area of um Columbia or um Alachua County or even Duval County, I can probably travel that way, and you want a cheesecake or a pound cake, hit me up. I am. You can find me on Facebook at Lindsay's Cakes by the Pound, and I also make cupcakes.

Speaker 1:

She's bringing out new stuff right here.

Speaker 2:

You haven't talked about your other little project deals my other little side hustle, yeah, and it's good.

Speaker 1:

Oh my God, it's good. Everybody that has it.

Speaker 2:

I mean, I have to say I make some good shit.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you do.

Speaker 2:

You do. I just made one for one of my former coworkers. She hasn't worked with me in like I want to say, seven or eight years and she still gets a caramel cheesecake from me every year for her birthday. She just picked that up. Her husband picked it up on Thursday. Did we talk?

Speaker 1:

about this before.

Speaker 2:

Is it caramel or caramel? It's caramel, that's how it's spelled Caramel. I keep having this argument with you. You want me to look you up? Hey, google.

Speaker 1:

No, no, no Spell caramel. You don't have to. We had this argument before.

Speaker 2:

In the Bible Mount Carmel, you know.

Speaker 1:

But what's real English and what's old English?

Speaker 2:

It's spelled with two A's Caramel, caramel, it's not Carmel. Carmel is C-A-R-M-E-L.

Speaker 1:

I've even shared this to you a few times. People talking about. Well, they'll write the words down and then people get confused on how you actually say things. You know like moose.

Speaker 2:

Well, we're not, in ye old English, real.

Speaker 1:

English. We're at caramel, we're disrespecting that damn language, Lindsay.

Speaker 2:

But there's a caramel and then there's a caramel. I get it and we're, we're, we're, it's a caramel cheesecake.

Speaker 1:

Does it make you feel more intelligent?

Speaker 2:

And I'm making a cherry one right now for another coworker. You feel more intelligent and I'm making a cherry one right now for another co-worker. I work with a husband and wife duo and the wife paid me to make her husband a cherry cheesecake for his birthday on Monday.

Speaker 1:

I don't get any of this. She cooks all of it First of all. All I have to do is ask. I know.

Speaker 2:

All you have to do is ask and I make him a banging ass. German chocolate cheesecake. Every year he actually gets two cakes. He gets a German chocolate layer cake and a German chocolate cheesecake, and whatever's left over we freeze, and so we can literally pull that shit out of the freezer and enjoy it for any time of the year.

Speaker 2:

Cause you can freeze cheesecake. Pull it out, let it get to room tip. It is just as good as the day you made it. Like we've done it. How many times We've got a frozen uh, pumpkin marshmallow pie in the freezer? Right now I'm like we got to eat that before it's time for the holidays again.

Speaker 1:

I know we need to do that tonight all right, yeah, so take it out anyhow recapping. Yeah, recapping, recapping jesse.

Speaker 2:

all right, so I I told you the story of grant amato, which led to the story of Victoria Goodwin who, after Grant Amato, is in prison for murdering his whole fucking family over an addiction to a cam girl model named Sylvie. There's a documentary that comes out about him called Control Alt Desire and Victoria Goodwin, who is married to Aaron Goodwin from Ghost Adventures TV show that's been going since 2008,. Host is Zach Bagans and Aaron Goodwin is a big part of that. I watched some of it yesterday.

Speaker 1:

I made you watch some of it and it was like OK, turning full circle about all this craziness.

Speaker 2:

He's such a good fucking goofball. Such a little treasure little human being.

Speaker 1:

I want him to come hang out. I really hope come hang out.

Speaker 2:

Because we did cover this story while it's fresh the Victoria Goodwin situation. So what she did is she reached out to Grant Amato, in prison for killing his whole family, because she was attracted to him.

Speaker 1:

Ew why.

Speaker 2:

Watch Control Out. Desire him, ew, why watch?

Speaker 1:

control out desire. You will be like what the fuck girl? What?

Speaker 2:

were you? What, what, what can I say this? First, though, what did you say?

Speaker 1:

he looked like ratatouille, motherfucker and you said that she looks like she can't fold, fucking her chin she doesn't have the chin, she can't fold towels, yeah she didn't, she has. Why are we hacking, but at the same time, fuck her, fuck both of them, fuck both of them, fuck both of them Ratatouille and Camp Foltel's ass bitch. But I mean seriously yeah.

Speaker 2:

Like poor Aaron, Did you not want to sob with him? I did.

Speaker 1:

We did, yeah, we did we did.

Speaker 2:

There's not, and I've already cried with him, so what's the?

Speaker 1:

court tv thing about yeah court tv of her sentencing which, of course, she pled guilty, and she was all like I apologize for blah, blah, blah, and the whole time I'm like fuck you bitch. Why did you, why did you like aspire to hooking up with a dude that has three life sentences and think that this is going to be a cool thing? What kind of fantasy, what? What kind of fucking thing.

Speaker 2:

There's a mental illness there. I'm sorry you don't reach out to a convicted murderer.

Speaker 1:

Another human being. That is an amazing personality, like somebody that I've really that we know of so far. Like I said, we're going to have to wait a couple of years for everything to come out in the wash, I mean.

Speaker 2:

And I hope that we are not wrong in our perception of Aaron Goodwin.

Speaker 1:

I really hope he's a cool cat man.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I think he's a cool cat, genuine cat, working his ass off trying to make, and he's not making near as much as the main.

Speaker 2:

I know I was pissed. How much did I you?

Speaker 1:

were getting kind of pissy.

Speaker 2:

So Zach Bagin is worth $34 million, Aaron Goodwin is worth $1.5 million.

Speaker 1:

Well, hopefully after this, that's a huge difference.

Speaker 2:

Hopefully after this maybe he'll get a little First people that work on the same show.

Speaker 1:

A little notch in the belt, Get on up to about two and a half Well and Aaron.

Speaker 2:

a lot of his revenue is also from his clothing line, the Big Step in Clothing line. Go support Aaron Goodwin Because as far as we know right now, he's a big step in clothing line.

Speaker 1:

after this we're gonna buy some fucking big stepping. We can, because you're you're a big stepping dude, I'm a hot stepper, yeah, hot stepper. So yeah, we're gonna go to big stepping clothing line. Y'all should go there too, if you're big. Whatever you know bigsteppingcom.

Speaker 2:

I found it stepping yes I looked, he's some good merch, I didn't know Yep, and most of it's black and we love black. Well, fuck off, dude, I'm going to hit you up.

Speaker 1:

So when you see a message from us, we're going to tag him personally in all that. Right, we need to tag him personally in all that, have we? We need to yes.

Speaker 2:

We're going to buy something and we'll be like, hey, we just did it.

Speaker 1:

We did a little hood and Maru.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we need to get him involved, right, that's what I mean. We've actually got an order from.

Speaker 2:

Jennifer Turpin. Also, I really want that witchy vibes. No, Well, because it's a, I mean we've been saving for our new England trip. So, I've been responsible. I didn't want to spend $45 quite yet on the hoodie that I want from her website, but we're going to do that because it says witchy vibes I kind of want to wear that to. Salem.

Speaker 1:

I want to wear that hoodie when we're going to Blackcraft and all that remember me doing the.

Speaker 1:

Well, blackcraft we have some things from Blackcraft With Josh and all the guys like Josh owns Blackcraft and I played in front of him. He was one of the judges for my when we played for Rockville and all that. Yeah, I need to tag Josh in some of this shit. He would be down. Maybe he'll, maybe I don't know if he's around. He's so busy. All of them guys are so busy. But anyhow, buy merch, do support Big step.

Speaker 2:

Everybody, aaron Goodman, everybody in all of our stories he's got, he's had a time this year, buddy I mean a time he, literally this year found out that his wife was conspiring to kill him. Yeah, and he has to live with that every day. And our me and Jesse, our hearts go out to you, aaron, like a hundred percent.

Speaker 1:

Yes, because.

Speaker 2:

A hundred percent, god damn like 100% yes.

Speaker 1:

Because, goddamn like.

Speaker 2:

That is not something anybody I mean most of the shit we cover nobody should have to go through Wow, but having to live with the fact that you know that the person you loved and he says it, he's like this is a person that I loved Came out of nowhere, seven years loving his life. I mean he seemed like genuinely he was blindsided.

Speaker 1:

He's a dork by all of this, yes, and the haunted mansion. They got fucking married.

Speaker 2:

Fuck lindsey I know what the fuck man. I love that ride so much I enjoyed it so much.

Speaker 1:

Thank you, I'm glad that I got you. I got you, I had to hold silas which is so weird. I got you. It was just so great because, like silas loves horror and he he is very creative with it. But when we wrote the haunted mansion.

Speaker 2:

I had to hold him like a baby.

Speaker 1:

And the cool little ghost dancing and all that, yes, I love it. I mean, did you really see all that? I'm like look, lindsay, look over here, look at this, focus on this. This is amazing.

Speaker 2:

And the second part was the newest version of that movie was really good with tiffany haddish and danny devito.

Speaker 1:

Like I enjoyed it we laughed so hard. Yes, so, but we're going to support you. We're going to tag you in this. Hopefully you listen to the whole thing you guys support his clothing line. Aaron goodwin big step in watch ghost adventures, that that helps you along your way of your shitty ass journey.

Speaker 2:

Yeah we're going to tag you and we, like I said, our hearts go out to you. I mean like, literally, we were crying watching the court TV and we were crying watching the latest episode over here.

Speaker 1:

I was like Lindsay we're watching the latest episode right now. We're there in California.

Speaker 2:

Season 29.

Speaker 1:

We watched it A hit was out on that man's life as he was filming that, and every time he popped up on the screen, dude, we were like, oh my God, he's so cool with his little umbrella hat, and Silas was digging that show too.

Speaker 2:

He's like y'all shut up. I want to hear him hear the ghost.

Speaker 1:

Because we were crying and cutting up and we're like we're doing our thing because we are goofballs.

Speaker 2:

Silas is like rewind it. I want to hear them hear the ghost voice. And we're just, we're goofbooting, and he, oh you deserve so much credit and you know I'm sad that I have not watched that show because it seems really interesting.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, Well, I have seen a lot of it, but I have not watched the newest stuff, but I've seen him a lot yeah.

Speaker 2:

I'm not OK as far as shows that I watch. I'm more big into comedies and then drama. I'm not really big into reality TV. I have in the past watched like a couple of like.

Speaker 1:

I watched the bachelorette and I watch this cool because we like I'm interrupting you at this moment because we're kind of stepping away from her ass and we're just talking more about him, because he's a cooler cat, fuck her. Yeah, yeah, yeah he's a cooler cat yeah, there's gonna be more on her later on I know it more on amato, more on everybody. You know it's to be, more of the fucking prison system and everything we talked about. All that I just wanted to plug in. Let's just focus from here on on him.

Speaker 2:

We should tag Colin uh archdeacon, who made control out desire and be like all right. Make a new one about this bullshit. Make a new documentary? Do it Looking forward Looking a new documentary? Do it Looking forward yeah, looking forward to finding out everything that went behind that and they know so much.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, everybody knows so much and they just need to do it. They just fucking need to do it because there's just so fucking much Really there are. Is Everything, this, that, the other, every damn thing, ever a thing?

Speaker 2:

Ever a thing, anyhow thing. Ever a thing, ever a thing, anyhow support.

Speaker 1:

Show love, oh yeah, watch ghost adventures. Buy something from big. Step in, do it, yes, um, and like, yeah, I'm gonna say it one more time our hearts just fucking go out to you.

Speaker 2:

Aaron goodwin, I'm sorry that you had to go through that, because it's not something that anything anybody should ever have to go through and to have to have that feeling every day of just not feeling safe in your life anywhere.

Speaker 1:

It's horrible.

Speaker 2:

I mean this woman was exchanging messages with a convicted murderer on his whereabouts Garbage and describing who he would be with, which is even scarier.

Speaker 1:

What would she say? First, husband, fh, right, and the text and bullshit. Like, watch that documentary. Really we can talk about it for days and keep bringing up stuff Really we can but you need to watch it y'all, y'all need to get you guys, I'm saying y'all.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so Law and Crime has episodes um of the background of everything, and then court tv has a sentencing hearing of where she did her bullshit apology to aaron, and aaron literally breaks down and describes how he felt and how he feels still to this day because it wasn't that long ago.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, in the prosecution part.

Speaker 2:

That's going to be something that will take a long time for him to get over.

Speaker 1:

Her little public defender was just like. I'm just going to tell you everything. She's already agreed to be guilty.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, what can you do? Say hey, she's ever gotten in trouble before. She was in a fascination type disassociated relationship, and you can tell it on her face.

Speaker 1:

You're right, lindsay, you're all right. She really was like trying to come up with some Disney World, fucking haunted, fucking something going on there. She said there's mental issues there, period, there's something.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, like you just don't get into a relationship, and I'm sorry, but anybody that is fascinated with a murderer to the point that you correspond with them in a romantic way seek help please. And I'm just saying that that's not normal.

Speaker 1:

That's not normal. And to all you people out there that are like you feel things that aren't physically present, you know, don't turn that into something that's toxic. You know, do not let that manifest into something that's toxic for you. So I'm just I'm just putting that out there because I don't know, if that's a thing, maybe it is because of the ghost hunters and all this stuff that's going on spiritually, yeah, emotionally, and you get in a situation you're trying to build yourself up to something and you're trying to connect to something, that is, you have to have a really deep, open mind, but at the same time, though, like you're trying to drag something in and conjuring things to happen, you feel it Sometimes it's overreacted, over-exaggerated.

Speaker 2:

Being obsessed with spookiness and true crime is a different level than being romantically involved with somebody that has actually killed their whole family, that's kind of my little plug that's two different.

Speaker 1:

Yes, exactly, I'm just saying that's two different spectrums right there, it's a spectrum. Yeah, you got to, not Don't let it be toxic.

Speaker 2:

Having a fascination with true crime and being fascinated and want to be romantic with somebody that has actually murdered somebody is two different things. And want to be romantic with somebody that has actually murdered somebody is two different things.

Speaker 1:

Not that, my fucking little analyze, breaking down bullshit's, fucking holding any weight, because you know, me and Lindsay, we're both fucked up human beings. We've been through some shit yeah, we are. But I think what we're putting out here is pretty good. It's pretty good Cobb and knowledge. You know, it's just like if anybody gets anything that's good out of this, which somebody did in Australia, miss Lindsay.

Speaker 2:

Oh, Jenny.

Speaker 1:

Hayes, we love you, oh, we love you to death. She's so cool man and I'm so looking forward to her documentary that's going to be coming out in the future, and I don't really have it I didn't really have it Good, go back, check that out.

Speaker 2:

Yes, definitely listen to our Jenny Hayes episode.

Speaker 1:

Support her. Support. Check that out. Yes, definitely. Listen to our Jenny Hayes episode.

Speaker 2:

Support her, support them, buy stuff and we're going to have I'm going to cover somebody else that also suffered from DID in the future.

Speaker 1:

Really.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah. So we're always reaching out to every one of the good, the positive victims that are built and they got stronger and they went through the shit. We always reach out.

Speaker 2:

I'll reach out, Well, like we said in our last recap, the only relationships that we want with people in the true crime world are survivors of horrific things, because our heart goes out to you.

Speaker 1:

I don't even want to say victims. I want to say that they overcome.

Speaker 2:

Overcomers Overcame something that was just Survivors. Overcomers, yes, but they are still a victim in the same aspect.

Speaker 1:

They are, but the word victim is just harsh. At the same time, like they've, they're strong enough, they, they, they created their own power inside of them. They're more than a victim. They're not a victim. They've overcame it. They've. You know, amazing human beings that went through something so fucking tragic and now they're still living, thriving, surviving and doing great.

Speaker 2:

Support them, support them, support, support, support support Because overcoming something horrific that happens to you is a wonderful accomplishment because it can bring you down, it changes your life, it can affect everything for the rest of your life and, instead of staying in, I want to say the victim mindset, when you overcome it and go forward and make something positive out of something negative, that's absolutely amazing.

Speaker 1:

Do you think, like the next song, that my band records will be overcome? I have a song called overcome, but now I have a new singer. I'm going to have her write her own lyrics.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, y'all stay tuned for new stuff to come from Shatter the Earth. Follow them, go ahead and follow them. Listen to what's already out there on the platforms.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to let her write her own lyrics. You know a verse and a chorus, or at least a verse.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, jesse writes great music, you guys I love it. And music, you guys I love it.

Speaker 1:

and I guess I'm biased, but, um, I I mean going by other opinions. It's good music, okay, okay. So I need to hit the studio. I'm gonna go Overcom and Queen Victoria, that's in our band now. I'm gonna let her write her own lyrics to a verse in that oh, her name's Victoria.

Speaker 1:

Victoria, holy shit, that's weird. But um, yeah, we're're. Yeah, but she's cool. She's a cool kind of hippie little cat. Yeah, I'm enjoying it. She's. She's trying hard, she's learning the lyrics, she's learning the technique, she's learning how to rock and roll. I'm enjoying it. Dude, we're going to have a grill chill out day. That way we can all officially hang and do, and we need that we officially hang and do and we need that.

Speaker 2:

We need that Banned cookout.

Speaker 1:

Let's do it, it's going to happen. It's going to happen, but we're going to wrap this recap up because we are fixing to record a two parter about Chris Watts.

Speaker 2:

So stay tuned for that, be listening, be ready, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Do all the very popular case.

Speaker 2:

I know most of my listeners probably already know this case. If you don't buckle up, jesse don't know, so y'all stay tuned for that. Yeah, do all the things, share all the things. Part one will be out today, Wednesday, and part two will be out on Friday.

Speaker 1:

Download all the things. I got a lot of work to do, so we're going to get after it. We're going to get after it.

Speaker 2:

Right.
