DRUNK ABOUT SOMETHING: THE WARRENS RECAP

Jendsey Season 1

What if the scariest part of your favorite haunted tales isn’t the demon at the door, but the people who profit from your fear? We tear into the Warrens’ most famous cases and the broader ecosystem that turned moral panic into a business model—linking Amityville’s admitted hoax, Annabelle’s elastic mythology, and the Conjuring franchise’s “true story” aura to very human motives: money, status, and control.

We walk through a repeating pattern across the Warrens’ headline cases—financial strain, family turmoil, adolescent stress, and mental health challenges—conditions that can fuel misattribution and shared hysteria. That lens doesn’t erase personal experiences; it explains why ordinary grief and anxiety get reframed as demons when audiences and institutions reward sensational claims. Along the way, we confront prosperity preachers boasting about private jets, paranormal personalities with merchandised relics, and the way fear guarantees engagement even when facts don’t. We also address abuse allegations tied to Ed Warren, pushing past brand nostalgia to ask whether accountability matters as much as box office.

This conversation isn’t anti-horror; it’s pro-truth. We still love a good scare and a perfect slow-burn set piece. We just refuse to trade empathy for marketing. If you’re curious how to enjoy horror responsibly, we offer a toolkit: separate allegory from affidavit, ask for sources, look for mundane explanations before leaping to demons, and support creators who treat real people’s pain with care. The result? Better stories, sharper thinking, and fewer victims of manufactured dread.

Hit play, challenge your assumptions, and then tell us: which “based on a true story” made you rethink everything? If this episode sparks something, subscribe, share it with a skeptic friend, and leave a review—your voice helps keep the conversation honest.

LET US KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!!!

SPEAKER_03:

Besties and besties.

SPEAKER_02:

So we have things to talk about, right? We do. We do. Things to talk about. I got them over here like they're in the studio. Can we get a little bit more gain on somebody turn the snare up on this one?

SPEAKER_03:

Snare in my drum? In my in my in my headphones. I was gonna say snare in my drum. Snare. I'd like to uh please.

SPEAKER_02:

They're the best they are.

SPEAKER_03:

They are uh from Fire Below.

SPEAKER_05:

Like when it comes to like playing Call of Duty, I'm like on the$5 discount. So we have like Turtle Beach, and I'm like, I'm gonna just bring up my fucking quality on it.

SPEAKER_03:

You want it louder.

unknown:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

So by the way, this is Lindsay, Jesse, and my bestie Aaron Morgan over here. Aaron Morgan, Aaron Russell Sumner. And then Morgan. Is it Sumner Russell? Or is it Russell Sumner? It's Russell Sumner. Okay. Everybody, it's Russell Sumner. Yes.

SPEAKER_02:

I can give you more. Do you want more? I can give you more. How's that? Checky?

SPEAKER_03:

Check, check, check.

SPEAKER_02:

This is like, this is how we do this, right? Is that better? I don't know. Is that better? I don't know. I don't know.

SPEAKER_05:

That'd be so funny though. If we would just have opposite, like last names.

SPEAKER_03:

Well, I know another I know another couple that would be.

SPEAKER_02:

You're going back. You're going back to get a new license. You're going back.

SPEAKER_03:

So it is Russell Sumner. Yeah. And um Bessie for almost two decades. And her lovely wife, Morgan. And these are the parents of my fur grandbabies, not grandbabies. Niece and nephew, not grandbabies.

SPEAKER_02:

What made you feel old today?

SPEAKER_03:

Oh my god, because I'm drunk and I don't know what I'm saying. Okay.

SPEAKER_02:

These are not children.

SPEAKER_03:

My niece and nephew, Bailey and Chewbarka.

SPEAKER_02:

These are co-genzies over here. These are co-genzies.

SPEAKER_03:

Cogensies.

SPEAKER_05:

You have to say it properly.

SPEAKER_03:

Yes.

SPEAKER_05:

It's Bailey Shithid. Yes. Russell Sumner.

SPEAKER_03:

Russell Sumner.

SPEAKER_05:

Chewy Barca. No, Chewbarka Winston.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, right.

SPEAKER_05:

Chewbarka Winston? Oh my god. Chebarka Winston, Russell Sumner.

SPEAKER_03:

I love it so much.

SPEAKER_05:

It's ridiculous. I love it. Can you guess what Shithid means?

SPEAKER_03:

No. Shithid?

SPEAKER_05:

Shithead.

SPEAKER_03:

Shithead! Woo! I was about to say that and then you just blurted it. And I was like, wait. I was like, I've heard this before. I've seen it in a meme. Shithid. Yes.

SPEAKER_02:

They've been going all day, everybody. It's just been nonstop, and I'm just riding the wave.

SPEAKER_03:

It's been amazing. It's been an amazing wave. Don't act like you're not.

SPEAKER_02:

Oh, okay. Okay. I've been I've been making waves. That's right. I've been making the waves. No, so we're here and we want to talk about something that Lindsay talked about for the last month and a half.

SPEAKER_03:

And they know about it. I did. They know about it. Yes. The Warrens. Oh, bum bum bum.

SPEAKER_02:

I heard wamp womp and I heard all kinds of cool stuff. I love it. I love having guests. It's so fun. Yes. It's so fun.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, we uh we recorded our regular feed episode, and now we are drunk about something.

SPEAKER_02:

Which, you know, that'll be out Friday, so that's gonna be get broke. All of us.

SPEAKER_03:

But this is Wednesday, so y'all are getting the aftermath of the war end. We're having we're having a Jim Jones here and a Jim Jones there.

SPEAKER_02:

Here a Jim, there a gym, everywhere a Jim Jim.

SPEAKER_03:

And Aaron's like, I do know Jim Jones.

SPEAKER_02:

I'm working at some Jim Jones. I think if you know the Jim Jones, if you don't know the Jim Jones, just go back. We'll uh we explained it in previous podcast. We'll just leave it like that. We're not gonna tell them this time.

SPEAKER_03:

Uh it's just backen flavoring.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, you told it. You spilled the beans. I spilled the seed. No arsenic, though. We promise. Zero arsenic in our Jim Jones drink.

SPEAKER_05:

Thank you, Jesse.

SPEAKER_02:

You're here forever now.

SPEAKER_03:

Zero cyanide.

SPEAKER_02:

Oh, that's what it was. Yeah, cyanide. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_05:

I guess.

SPEAKER_02:

Whatever. I mean. So we're gonna talk about some some shit, Lindsay.

SPEAKER_03:

Alright, so I'm gonna look, I'm gonna let you roll off the hip of everything that I've taught you about the Warrens. Go ahead. End your own.

SPEAKER_02:

Lindsay literally was like, dude, I want to go to this house. So we did our trip all the way up to Maine and back, right? And she's like, I kind of want to stop the conjuring house. I'm like, I don't really know. It would have been like uh another a day almost. Because it's in Rhode Island. Yeah. Yeah. To to get over and just do the things. And I was like, I don't know. And then and then come to find out it was all bullshit.

SPEAKER_03:

I just wanted to see the house. I knew I already knew it was just one of them.

SPEAKER_02:

You wanted to go to the Ocean Avenue.

SPEAKER_03:

No, no, no, no, no.

SPEAKER_02:

Oh, that was the other one, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Okay, so Amityville in New York.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, New York. You mentioned that one too, so that's why I'm like, uh kind of, you know. Doing a thing. But uh okay, so but but you wanted to do both. You you mentioned both of them.

SPEAKER_03:

Well, 112 Ocean Avenue was the Amity House.

SPEAKER_02:

So we talked about that one first. Went through the whole shit on that, come to find out it's just shitty people with shitty situations and uh little hidden fucking relationship that was going on in that.

SPEAKER_03:

Uh, so I just wanted to um share some new information that I found post the 112 Ocean Avenue episode. So basically, the um the Lutzes did come out at some point and say it was in fact a hoax. I was under the impression that they carried that to their grave, but there was, in fact, a time period where they did say that it was a hoax.

SPEAKER_02:

I don't know the beginning of the whole conjuring series of many, many, many things that we've talked about over the last month and a half. And everybody has probably watched the movies, probably Amityville and conjuring the first conjuring film. The nun, the hooking. I do too.

SPEAKER_05:

It's so creepy, like warrants and all their grifton ass bullshit.

SPEAKER_01:

Grift.

SPEAKER_05:

Like it's a it's a creepy fucking film.

SPEAKER_01:

Don't get caught griftin. Don't get caught grifton. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

I love my voice on the headphones over here. Can somebody turn up the more snare in my headphones again, please? Well, all I that's not good. Oh, oh, we're we're jamming over here.

SPEAKER_03:

So basically, recapping our one and two parts. So we talked about in the first part of the warrant. So we talked about the origins of Annabelle and the folks that lived at the conjuring house. And I don't have my notes in front of me. That's right. And I have already forgotten the names of the people that lived at the conjuring house.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, so make sure you go back and listen to those episodes. It's been so much that just we just we you you go back and you try to relate so much information that you write down a list of is uh killing it when she has that script in front of her. Well, y'all were so impressed.

SPEAKER_05:

I'm gonna tell you like being human, like it fucking sucks because you wish you were a fucking computer and you can fucking remember all this bullshit.

SPEAKER_02:

You know, like Lindsay got a little bit of badass over here in there. I love it. I'm so impressed.

SPEAKER_05:

Like, she is really uh I don't know how she reads this fucking script because like she just like it's more than just a script, it's just like talking to you while telling you stuff. But it's more than that. It's just like it's a fucking I don't know.

SPEAKER_02:

She has it's impressive, it really is, and it's a lot of research and the stuff she puts together.

SPEAKER_05:

The research is what matters the most, and I think her reading that is what matters. So, but anyway, um, you know, like we were uh with the Annabelle Dahl, right? Um who is it?

SPEAKER_02:

The comedian that talked about Mark Reif, yeah. Matt Reif. Not Mark. Mark Mark and Matt, there's you know, it doesn't matter. And I didn't know about that because I thought he was cool until Lindsay told me he wasn't cool. So that was that sucked. She's like, no, he's canceled. I'm like, oh, that's a thing, really? You're really gonna see. And then she waited. She waited a week to tell me why. And I didn't know why, because I I don't know shit about fuck. Yeah, you know, and I'm not who wants to say Lindsay loves it that way, I think.

SPEAKER_03:

Who wants to say why? Well, on top of uh thinking that domestic violence is funny, he also had an online spat with a child. That's that part. Yeah. Over all of uh his like fake apology and sh- I mean Yeah, no. That's funny's not you don't see for like what a solid year or so.

SPEAKER_05:

He was just all over TikTok.

SPEAKER_02:

And it was boom boom.

SPEAKER_05:

And now he's nowhere can't find his ass. Can't good.

SPEAKER_02:

I didn't know. I didn't know. She just she stole it. Well, he stole it away from me. He you know, I thought he was cool. You gotta be a good human being. Come on here, bud.

SPEAKER_05:

Like there's company, there's punching, he he punches down. And you know, that's not it's just like okay then, but then, you know, yeah, his his jokes about domestic violence and stuff like that.

SPEAKER_02:

It's like Yeah, he's like the Reggie all nutty professor.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, we're just waiting for old buddy love to show him what the fuck's up.

SPEAKER_03:

Is that me? Yeah. Well, it's like, and when you see him after he fell from grace, it was like now he latched on to this and Lorraine Warren shit where he bought it, you know, bought the rights to some of their properties, but I'm like, but buddy.

SPEAKER_02:

It's all fake.

SPEAKER_03:

It's all fake.

SPEAKER_05:

I mean, that's his dumb shit decision to make, so fuck him.

SPEAKER_03:

Exactly.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah, exactly. Maybe it's like a redemption kind of thing for him. Um, and I'm not sure. Hold on, hold on.

SPEAKER_02:

Okay, we're gonna have this conversation here. We're gonna have this one.

SPEAKER_05:

I don't know him any more than you guys do. But what I'm saying is, as a comedian, but also as someone who's trying, maybe he just admires what they are doing, you know, grifting.

unknown:

Oh.

SPEAKER_05:

Maybe he was trying to like redeem something and like some some kind of aspect and you know.

SPEAKER_02:

So Mr. Reif needs to hear our podcast because he's trying to hang on to a legacy that's all fake.

SPEAKER_05:

That or he has a bunch of money and he might be fucking buddies with Zach Begins. Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Zach Bagins is the next Ed in Lorraine. What? Are they?

SPEAKER_01:

Are they? He's the current grifter. Oh. Yeah. Don't get caught grifting. Eric, I'm a I'm a fucking demon now, dude.

SPEAKER_02:

No, like satanic panic and and using all of that has just been a real awakening for me because, you know, Lindsay and I were both raised, you know, you better not do that, devil's going come get you ain't kidding, you know? Um, you know, the fear. Yeah, they were they raise us in fear, and they use that as a demographic for being whatever they want you to be. And of course, you have to bring your wallet to the church and empty that out too.

SPEAKER_03:

You know, so well, and um I'm gonna go off of one of me and Aaron's favorite podcasters of the last podcast on Left Boys. So Ed Larson says in their coverage on Ed and Lorraine Warren, he says, you know what? So they were so the priests were working with the Warrens to keep people scared so they would keep going to church. And you have said that many a times. Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_05:

Isn't that what religion is?

SPEAKER_03:

All fear-based. Fear-mongering, all the fear.

SPEAKER_02:

Not that we're shitting on anything. You mean do your own thing and believe your own beliefs.

SPEAKER_05:

Exactly. I'm not trying to shit on anything.

SPEAKER_02:

Like, it's just like But we're shitting on it all at the same time. We're shitting on we're shitting on you using that for a come up. You know what I'm saying? Why do you fucking have four leer jets? You know, but we're gonna pass the fucking pot again. You know, that's that's a thing, you know. Tax fucking billionaire religions. You know, if you if you're fucking you're banking off of this shit and you're making other people broke, you're not getting closer to heaven. I can't you're not getting closer.

SPEAKER_05:

Did you see the TikTok that was uh a pastor and he is like, this Rolls Royce, you know, the congregation? The dining one, yeah. Did I drive it? No.

SPEAKER_02:

You know, and the pastor that's like, you brought a thousand or twelve hundred dollars, but I said two thousand. Yeah, and he wanted more money. I'm like, come on, lock the doors. We need to pass the plate again, yeah. Come on, y'all. Come on.

SPEAKER_03:

Well, so I shared a uh video to Jesse about two pastors that I was um raised in watching daily, which was Kenneth Copeland and Jesse DuPlantis, and where they talked about how God blessed them with jets. And so please, yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

Not the New York Jets, but you know, they could buy them if they wanted to in the name of Jesus.

SPEAKER_03:

Like actual like fucking jets to get in and and and go to another, you know, preaching ceremony. This is their career. This is they turn God and Jesus and religion and fear-mongering into a career where now they have private jets. And Jesse DuPlantis not only has one, but he has two.

SPEAKER_02:

Why do you need two? You can't fly on both of the same fucking time.

SPEAKER_05:

Because God told him to take the other private jet. One was that gas.

SPEAKER_02:

No, and and and you know, and and we're not, yeah, honestly, we're not shitting on anything other than the point of we're shitting on that point. We're shitting on that point, if you understand where we're coming from. And and you know, to each his own, do your things, but be awake a little bit.

SPEAKER_03:

If you can afford a private jet, fuck you.

SPEAKER_02:

Like period. Yeah, you can get you can you can go to you can go to God in a in a regular plane, you know?

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah, I'd like to bring Billy Eilish into There you go.

SPEAKER_02:

Talk about it.

SPEAKER_05:

Go ahead, Billy Eilish saying, you know, why are you a billionaire?

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, if you're a billionaire, why?

SPEAKER_05:

Why? Yeah, you you can fucking donate. And guess what? And she donated a fifth of her net worth.

SPEAKER_02:

11 million bucks, right? Yeah. Just right off rip.

SPEAKER_05:

That's fucking amazing. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

You know, like who needs to do that? All of them?

SPEAKER_05:

At least pay your taxes. At least pay their taxes.

SPEAKER_02:

We're revolutioning in here over the fear. I mean, Lindsay, okay, Lindsay. Billy Eyelash. Yes, Billy Eyes. All the love to William Eyelash. All the love. Now back to Lindsay over here. She's been touched by those iconic assets.

SPEAKER_03:

I literally, they have literally touched me. Both of them. But going back to William Eyelash.

SPEAKER_02:

Does it feel more when I do it? Does it is it, I mean, can I get can I get a thousand dollars every time I do that? Right.

SPEAKER_03:

I know, and that's what like that's what fucking pisses me off as being raised in that type of environment. To think that a human being touching you means something is weird.

SPEAKER_02:

You're stripping away from the religion when you're trying to manifest um a divine entity by yourself. It's just showing your complete narcissistic fucking full-on just in the Catholic religion, uh, priests are supposed to be uh not vessels, but um conduits.

SPEAKER_03:

Okay.

SPEAKER_05:

Like, so they work, God tells them, and they, you know. So like I think in that aspect, the whole touching is supposed to be the Holy Spirit of which of the three branches of the divine whatever, you know, God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit. You know, I think that's what they mean when they're, you know, oh, you've been touched because they believe God is working through them and they're a vessel.

SPEAKER_02:

But don't break people while you're trying to do it. Don't break their don't break their homes and their wives.

SPEAKER_05:

I think touching people like, you know, just keep your hands to yourself. Hold on, no, I think I think touching people is more than necessary, right? We're human. And we need to fucking touch people because we're human.

SPEAKER_02:

The connection.

SPEAKER_05:

But it matters in the content and what not content, but the context in which we're doing that. You know, like we we can't just be doing it because we want fucking money, because we touch someone, or you know, bullshit, whatever. Um you know, it it matters, you know, me hugging you is because I fucking love you, right?

SPEAKER_02:

Love is free, love is real, is free, you know.

SPEAKER_05:

Love should be free.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05:

It should be free.

SPEAKER_02:

Not feared, not paid for.

SPEAKER_05:

And you know, what I fucking hate so much is just saying, man, there's a lot of AI bullshit nowadays. Yeah, but they're still the same guys that just want to make a buck off of the content that they create because they're like, hey, I'm fucking giving a thousand dollars to this homeless man. That bothers me, you know, and it's like maybe it's even more than that. Like, you know, maybe it's whatever, it doesn't matter, but it's like the the purpose for them is to make content.

SPEAKER_02:

And I fucking hate Oh yeah, the the people that try to use that as a come-up, yeah, their charity is their come-up, and it's all fake, yeah. So that's like the fake reality TV. That's that's another version of MTV that went to shit, right? Yeah, well, it's more like is it MTV closing? I heard that MTV was closing. I heard it was MTV was gonna shut down finally. I mean, we we experienced that. It ended in the uh early 2000s.

SPEAKER_05:

Like they they canceled him. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Holy shit.

SPEAKER_05:

They canceled it. Millions of dollars per fucking season.

SPEAKER_03:

Season, yeah.

SPEAKER_05:

And it's justified because it was actually every fucking episode ever saw was actually like just new, you know, like it wasn't just a uh remake, you know. That's that's the difference between all these episodes that you see online or on uh uh television, you know, that's that's what he did differently, right?

SPEAKER_02:

And yeah, so that's why he made so much money, but they unfortunately uh, you know, they canceled him because it's well I am just honestly I'm glad that people can do that in a good way, you know, where they can be like well some people need to be shut down, like the Warren. Yeah, yeah. So back back to back to our stories.

SPEAKER_01:

So we could go on for days.

SPEAKER_02:

Um Lindsay's like, Lindsay just she she really did, though. And we're we we wanna we want to share it on a big on a wide spectrum because Lindsay just she she threw all that out there, the whole universe, and it all says this is based on a true story, and it wasn't none of it.

SPEAKER_03:

True events, or true events, right? But none of the events. So the Lutzes had to come up from the whole DeFeo family massacre. Then you have um that you know, Annabelle, these girls accepted this doll as an entity in their house because they felt like she was um a lost soul. But at the same time, it's also been speculated that they were just playing a prank on the boyfriend. So, and then you have uh, you know, the conjuring house where there was mental illness in the family there. Then you have the Hodgson family over where the Enfield poltergeist happened, you have mental illness there, where they tried to make a girl who was going through a very hard time adjusting to her mom and dad being divorced and her dad having a new younger wife that was when he was so when he would come over to the house to pay child support, he would flaunt this new younger wife, which was fucking with the mom, it was fucking with the kids, and the family was going through hard times. Then you had the Smurl family, who was also experiencing hardship and hard times.

SPEAKER_02:

He had the nun experience, that's why he brought it into the whole Well, that was in his childhood, yes.

SPEAKER_03:

So that's in the nun came from.

SPEAKER_02:

And it's like we're gonna tie that in too. We're gonna you know I think that was the beginning of his uh come-up psychosis of using religion for um uh a way for for gaining mass hysteria and monetary fucking come up with.

SPEAKER_03:

Well, that's what um the CSI cop organization, they were literally trying to bring that to light to where, hey, these all these families and all these situations, these are people going through hard times which can affect you mentally. And it's all a pattern. Like all these people are experiencing the same exact shit, but in a different form.

SPEAKER_02:

And they they got into the situations where they couldn't even afford the places they were at. Right. And they always had some uh uh uh wayward child in the middle of all of it.

SPEAKER_03:

Well, starting with the Lutz family in Amityville, they they got into a home that they couldn't afford. Right. Right.

SPEAKER_02:

Causes a lot of things.

SPEAKER_03:

And then then you go all the way down to the Snedeker family, which was um the last case, the last very you know, famous case that I can that I could find that the Warrens were a part of, where they, you know, the the child in the house had Hodgkin's lymphoma and then sexually assaulted assaulted his family members.

SPEAKER_02:

Try to blame it on it. Uh fucking uh being exer uh an exorcist uh he was being possessed and they're had to bring in the whole the whole the whole Warren fucking thing and we're gonna exercise it out of it.

SPEAKER_03:

And then the the the father figure in that home, I think it was Al. Yes. So he was, you know, he said that he was sodomized by a spirit. Like there's a lot more at play here than j than you know paranormal activity.

SPEAKER_06:

Right.

SPEAKER_03:

This is mental illness among all of these family members, and what the CSI cop or or organization said was mass or or uh shared hysteria. Yes, shared hysteria.

SPEAKER_02:

And now what you know, once you start feeding off of everybody else and all their little things, it becomes bigger things. It's a big snowball effect. So I get it. I was on the fence for what, like three almost to the last part, the last the last episode that or the the last podcast that we did, it was not on the left, but it was you know, it was a good one. It was ours. But um, all the way to the point where you you brought Ed's fucking thing into where he was basically molesting somebody that was not basically legit molesting a child.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, and and and this person, you know, Judith Penny, she was basically a living s slave to the Warrens who stayed with them well into her adult.

SPEAKER_02:

That's where I broke. I was like, I'm fucking done, I'm fucking out, fuck all the fuck, fuck.

SPEAKER_06:

Fuck y'all, yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, we can all say fuck at the same time. One, two, three.

SPEAKER_06:

Fuck!

SPEAKER_02:

Fuck but no, um that that's pretty much our take on it. Like uh, you had so much content that you put out there, so much deep dive into all that into the podcast. It was a journey. It was a journey, and I'm sure you guys are are have checked some of it out, and you're gonna check all the rest of it out. Thank you guys for being here with us. And you know all the fucking about fuck.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, you know all the shit about fuck.

SPEAKER_02:

So I didn't know. I mean, I I watched some of the movies. I mean, and some of the I watched The Nun, the first conjuring, I gave up after that, you know?

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, we didn't we never went past the first conjuring. And and like I told you, I mean, I was a sh after I found out about Ed Lorraine's uh background, I was ashamed that I was scared of that movie.

unknown:

Right.

SPEAKER_03:

Like in the beginning. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05:

I didn't I didn't know until I think I don't know, yeah, I think it was after the first conjuring. And I was like, I I I like the film. I still actually like the film because it's genuinely creepy.

SPEAKER_03:

It's still good entertainment. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

It's it's just creepy. But don't portray it as being anything ever that really happened.

SPEAKER_05:

No, and then the second film I watched, but that's when it like things started like popping up about them, and you know, and then it just sort of snowballed, not in their favor.

SPEAKER_03:

Well, this in this day and age, the truth is gonna come out. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

So honestly, like I would I would rather portray anything that Ed Gean did, all the movies that rolled off of that, because at least they used what he fucking did. Not not not giving him any credit. But at least they made some badass movies after that and they used what really happened. And twisted that into movies, but don't twist fake shit into movies and and and say that it's based on something, you know?

SPEAKER_05:

And no, though, I didn't see Buffalo Bill with a nipple belt. It's not a historical movie.

SPEAKER_02:

Wouldn't that have been good? That would have been so good. That good by horses, though? That's Jesse's jam.

SPEAKER_05:

I love that. I love that song so much that I I on one playlist I have three covers of it. Like good ass, good ass versions of it.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah? Yeah. We gotta find those bands and plug them on the pod.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Made him so giddy right now.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah. Urban Heat is one of them. Urban Heat. Dead by Sunday. I believe Dead by Sunday. I do it. There's one other thing.

SPEAKER_02:

I didn't know there were cover songs of Goodbye Horses. This is why you're here. This is why you're fucking here.

SPEAKER_05:

SPEAKER_02:

SPEAKER_05:

SPEAKER_03:

Like, we all wanted to crawl through the fucking television and strangle this fucking bitch. I don't I don't even care what the fucking show is called.

SPEAKER_02:

I think that they're gonna do that. They have to do some shit on Ed and Lorraine, too, right? They'll bring that. They need to do some shit on the bring up the shit. Yeah. Like the real shit.

SPEAKER_03:

SPEAKER_03:

I loved it. I love that.

SPEAKER_05:

Oh my god, those poor babies. They just wanted to hang out and be kids and I hated that part, but I love that that it was about that story though.

SPEAKER_03:

SPEAKER_02:
