So we get to the gas station, I put in my rewards number to get our little cents off, and we put we we put in the card, put in the pen, and I walk away. Jesse gets in the car. So I in my mind, I'm like, okay, he's got the pump set, you know, and and and he's got the thing going. So it's just gonna like automatically just pump gas. No. So I walk into the store and I'm like, hey, do you want to grab the ice and I'll go pay for it? And he's like, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'll do that. So we do the things. Then he comes in the store and I'm like, babe, the ice is outside. He's like, Okay, did we want to get anything else inside? I was like, No, I don't think so. So I paid for the ice, Jesse gets the ice, I come outside, him and my oldest son are putting it in the cooler. And I help one of the grandbabies go potty, you know, all the things we gotta do before a beach trip. We get in the van and he cranks it up and I look at the gas. We're fixing to leave. And I'm like, Jesse, it's in the exact did you did you pump the gas? And he's like, What?

And he was born on April 9th, 1935, to Joseph Sr. and Maria Fritzel in Amstratten, which is in Lower Austria. And he was the only child. So Joseph Sr. fought in World War II and was killed in action in 1944, leaving little Joseph to be raised by his mentally and physically abusive mother.

War Trauma And A Brutal Childhood

Then he thinks that she's gone from this world and he's sent to an orphanage, and then they were later reunited because the US liberated this camp on May 5th, 1945.

And like I said, she's obviously very mentally unwell, and she would pass this down to Yosef. It's a fucking circle, you know what I mean?

And I mean, this teacher would inspire him to become an electrical engineer. Really? Yeah. So as he grew into a young man, Maria, you know, she really couldn't abuse him anymore. And when she would try, he would abuse her right back. It literally is described, um, their relationship became like a toxic husband and wife. So I'm looking at you right now. I'm doing cringe to you.

Assaults And Slaps On The Wrist

Because Rosemary was already working there, and he wanted the rest of the family to do the same to avoid having to pay anybody else. Right. He didn't want to payroll. He didn't want uh what overhead, as you know, as it's called. She's garbage. Now while she was in this course, she met a girl and they became really good friends, and she ends up breaking down and telling this friend everything that had been happening to her since she was 11. And she was 16, going on 17.

But one night there was a noise complaint, and the officer that responded to that call made them show all their IDs. So Elizabeth was found, and she was sent back to her home at number 40, 3300 Yibstressa.
